Rabbi Ellen Nemhauser has worked as a rabbinic fellow at the Center for Israel Education since January 2015. She has written a complete cycle of Torah commentaries that connects an aspect of the weekly portion to Modern Israel. Ellen also creates curricular materials and provides workshops for rabbis in communities throughout North America. Ellen has worked in Jewish education since her ordination from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion. She on the Board of Faith Alliance of Metro Atlanta, on the executive board of the Jewish Community Relations Council, and serves as the co-president of the International Women’s Rabbinic Network . Her goal in all of her professional and personal endeavors is to help create safe spaces and appropriate curricula, in which children, teens, families and diverse communities can learn, dialogue, grow through their sacred connections.
